We are so glad you've come upon our website. Heorot Denu is a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), an international organization dedicated to recreating European History from 600 AD to 1600 AD. Heorot Denu encompasses the south west corner of Manitoba and holds its meetings in Brandon. Our name is Old English for Deer Valley and is reflective of the hills and valleys of the region with its large deer population.

 

We offer martial activities like armored combat or archery, as well as period themed crafting such as calligraphy and needlework. Our festive activities such as dancing, feasting, and singing, are experiences for people of all ages to enjoy.
